“Vintage 50” BCGSA Interior Chapter Fall Wind-Up Tournament
Please plan on being part of a great day of golf, networking and fun at the Penticton Golf and Country Club on September 29, 2017. This will be the 50th anniversary of the Interior Superintendents wind up tournament.
We are hoping to make this a day to remember, so put together a team, a partial team or sign up individually to join the festivities. Not a golfer, but you’ve been a part of the interior golf industry sometime in the past 50 years, “we want you”. Sign up as a non-golfer and you can still be a part of history.
If you have any old photos, equipment etc., please let me know so we can have it on display for all to see. Please pass this cover letter and entry form on to anyone that’s made our industry what it is today, we don’t want to miss anyone.
Because this is our 50th we are calling it the “Vintage 50” wind-up. Plan on hitting some shots with “vintage” clubs, there will be a “vintage car” hole in one, and EVERYONE is encouraged to wear “vintage” golf attire. There will prizes for best dressed individuals and teams. We will be having the traditional “Verne’s Caesar Breakfast” to get the day going. Before anyone hits a shot there will be a group photo taken to go into the history books.

Friday, September 29th, 2017
Price: $85.00 per person/$425.00 per team. Includes: Golf, Power cart, Lunch, Dinner, & Prizes.
Non-Golfer Price: $40.00 per person. Includes: Lunch, Dinner & Prizes.
Format: 5 person scramble. (3 drives each, Max 4) Handicap will be 10% of team total.
Bring your own team, or sign up as a partial team or individual and you will be placed on a complete team. Teams may consist of: BCGSA members, grounds crew, course management, club executives, golf buddies &/or guests. Bring some people from your club that you want to golf with and spend a day socializing and networking with!!!!!!
There will be on course games such as “Vintage” car hole in one, chipping and putting contests, poker, toonie toss and more! Proceeds from games will be going to the Autism (exact charity to be determined), so bring some extra cash and help raise some fund's for this worthy cause!
There will also be a “Silent Auction”, and a 50/50 draw.

10:30-12:30 Registration, Para-mutual betting, networking and BBQ Burger Lunch
1:00 - ? 18 Hole Shotgun Start
6:30/7:00 Dinner & Prizes
Prizes: All Teams are required to bring two prizes, whatever value your club can afford. Extra prizes are appreciated!

*Tournament is limited to the first 28 “Paid” teams. You may bring more than one team!
