Top Canadian Golf Architect Added to Speaker Line-Up

12.08.17-show.logo2013The Western Canada Turfgrass Association is pleased to announce that Doug Carrick, multiple award winning Canadian Golf Course Architect, has been added to the speaker line-up for the 2013 Annual Conference and Trade Show.

Douglas Carrick is arguably the top Canadian Golf Course Architect over the last two decades.  Doug is experienced in a wide variety of projects, and has been involved in the design of numerous golf courses, golf course communities, resort and recreational communities, municipal parks, theme/amusement parks, housing development and golf course renovation projects. Following graduation from the University of Toronto's School of Landscape Architecture, he gained experience on several golf course projects and on a wide variety of land planning and recreational projects while working with two reputable Toronto-based design firms.

13.02.17-DougCarrickDuring this time, Doug developed a close working relationship with Mr. C.E. "Robbie" Robinson, one of Canada's leading golf course architects in his day. He assisted Mr. Robinson in the design and remodeling of several golf courses across Canada. Since establishing his own practice in 1985, Doug has been involved in the planning and design of over 50 golf course projects.
