2016 Conference & Trade Show - Hotel Partners Named
Catering to the professional golf and sportsturf management industry, the 53rd Annual WCTA Conference and Trade Show will take place, for the first time ever, in the world-class resort of Whistler, British Columbia, February 23-25, 2016. Join us in this world-renowned, four-season resort for education, networking and a little bit of winter fun! Families and pets welcome.
With room rates well below seasonal pricing, the WCTA is pleased to announce the Crystal Lodge as its 2016 headquarter hotel along with the Aava Whistler and Delta Suites as partner accommodators.
Executive Director Jerry Rousseau stated, “Thanks to our relationship with GolfBC, we were able to negotiate an incredible introductory rate with the Crystal Lodge of $159/night. The same room the weekend before will sell for $397.”
Realizing Whistler can be more expensive than other conference locations, the WCTA Board placed a high priority on negotiating the best possible room rates. With Crystal Lodge leading the way, both the Aava and Delta followed suit offering pricing well under peak winter season rates.
“There is a catch,” added Rousseau. “Delegates will need to book rooms sooner than they are used to, the number of rooms are limited and cancellation policies tend to be less flexible. To avoid disappointment, delegates will need to book early, be prepared to place a deposit for the first night’s stay and submit payment for the entire stay 14 days in advance.”
Event organization is well underway. Exhibitor information coming in September. Delegate registration will start in November.
