Outgoing Chair, Ken Cousineau, CGSA Executive Director, was thanked by all NAGA partners for his leadership the past year. "I think we accomplished a lot this year", stated Cousineau. "Of particular note, we completed an extensive strategic planning process and released Canada's first Golf Consumer Behaviour Study".
NAGA also announced the decision to conduct the next Canadian Golf Economic Impact Study, to be released in 2014. "Our focus this year will be twofold" noted Calderwood. "This Economic Impact Study, and NAGA's federal lobby effort to allow golf as a legitimate business entertainment expense in the Income Tax Act. Both initiatives are extremely valuable to our entire industry, and the Study will certainly support our lobby effort".
