First Green Receives $112,250 Grant from the United States Golf Association

The grant is funded by the USGA’s partnership with Chevron and designed to encourage students in science, technology, engineering and math disciplines through the world of golf.

On Monday, the Attorney General The Honourable Suzanne Anton, will be making an announcement on some changes to the liquor control act that will be quite positive to the business operations of both golf courses and ski operations.

BCGSA Presidents Report Fall 2014

2014 saw the implementation of the BCGSA offering CEC Program administration for our members and their staff.  In the first year of offering this program a total of 33.5 CEC’s were applied for and approved for seminars and regional meetings.  Presently there are 17 members taking advantage of this service and we continue to work with the WCTA to maximize the opportunities for members of either association to have access to good education and CEC collection.
