Allied Golf Association of British Columbia Supports Destination BC’s New Tourism Strategy

The Allied Golf Association (AGA-BC) of BC applauds Destination BC’s new corporate strategy and new tourism marketing plan, announced yesterday. The AGA-BC welcomes this new strategy, which mentions golfers as a specific and key visitor target, and looks forward to working with Destination BC to explore new opportunities and new markets for over 300 golf courses spread across all regions of our province.

AGA-BC Environmental Advocacy Committee Releases Funds

13.02.10-AGA-BC1The first meeting of the AGA-BC Environmental Advocacy Committee took place June 24, 2013 at the University Golf Club.  This committee replaced the standing Pesticide Advocacy Committee whose original purpose was to advise AGA-BC member groups on the issue of pesticide use and advocate  for the continued use of federally regulated plant protection products on behalf of the BC golf industry.
