BCGSA Presidents Report Fall 2014

2014 saw the implementation of the BCGSA offering CEC Program administration for our members and their staff. In the first year of offering this program a total of 33.5 CEC’s were applied for and approved for seminars and regional meetings. Presently there are 17 members taking advantage of this service and we continue to work with the WCTA to maximize the opportunities for members of either association to have access to good education and CEC collection.

American Lake Veterans Golf Course, located in Lakewood, WA, is the only golf course in America designed and operated for the sole purpose of rehabilitating wounded and disabled veterans. With extremely limited funding, a large group of passionate volunteers care for and maintain the golf course, all for the benefit of veterans and specifically, the wounded warriors receiving care at the American Lake VA hospital.
