13.02.10-AGA-BC1The Allied Golf Association of British Columbia (AGA-BC) is a provincial organization that contains representation from each of the Regional Golf Industry Associations that are dedicated to providing one cohesive voice for golf in British Columbia.

In an effort to help ensure active involvement across the golf industry sectors, AGA-BC has launched a comprehensive newsletter designed for everyone who earns a living in the golf industry.  The newsfeed is free, subsrciption based and will circulate via email twice per year.

12.05.17-BC.house.of.parliamentBeginning July 1, 2016 everyone who applies pesticides in British Columbia needs to be certified or trained (using the Ministry of Environment's online course). The Assistant Applicator training will be most relevant to those in the Industrial Veg. & Noxious Weed, Forestry, Landscape & Structural sectors.

Good Response to GVRD Golf Course Water Use Survey

31% of golf courses within the Metro-Vancouver area have responded to an important water use survey.  Facilitated by the Western Canada Turfgrass Association on behalf of the Allied Golf Association of BC, the survey’s purpose is to solicit, compile and present industry metrics as per Metro-Vancouver Water Authority’s request to provide potable water use data by golf courses in the region.
