Much of the detail related to implementation of the new Water Sustainability Act will be provided in regulations and operational policies.  Due to the complexity of the new act and the number of proposed regulations, government is taking a phased approach to implementation.

Great Timing For Environmental Benefits of Turf Poster

The Canadian Turf Research Foundation (CTRF), posted a helpful resource on its website today, August 20, 2015, called the 'Environmental Benefits of Turfgrass Poster'.  For those turf managers in western Canada currently affected by unusally hot and dry conditions and facing scrutiny over the use of water, the poster will assist both individual facilities and industry organizations with their public and media advocacy efforts.
