Blue Ecology Workshop- A workshop on interweaving First Nations cultural knowledge and Western science. Brought to you by the Partnership for Water Sustainability in BC co hosted by the IIABC. View full workshop brochure here
Electrical Code & Standards Low Energy Course- This 2 day course is suitable for those preparing for the BCSA Field Safety Representative (FSR) class Low Energy (LO) Exam.
Pump Course- This one day course will provide an overview of water sources and types of pumps typically used for irrigation.
Courses Only Available at the Convention (once a year):
Contractor Business Course- The course will provide instruction on how to prepare proper bids that include overhead costs, materials and labour. *Needed for CIC status*
Landscape Drip Design- This one-day course will provide basic information for anyone designing and operating drip and micro systems for landscape.
Fundamentals of Design- This excellent one-day course will cover the basics of turf and landscape irrigation design and application.
Advanced Turf Irrigation Design- This one-day workshop focuses on advanced irrigation design and management principles.
IIABC Classics:
Certified Irrigation Technician- Level 1 (CIT-1)- This one day CIT- Level 1 course will provide registrants with basic information and skills for the installation and maintenance of an irrigation system.
Certified Irrigation Technician- Level 2 (CIT-2)- This two day CIT-Level 2 course will provide information on Principles of Hydraulics, backflow prevention fundamentals, irrigation system operational troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, controller troubleshooting and basic quoting.
