HEY GOLF GALS AND GUYS - FIELD DAY REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JULY 13!
No, the upcoming field day isn’t just for sportsfield personnel. In fact, you just might want to check out the turf management ‘dark side’ and see what it’s all about!
Seriously, golf superintendents and staff will get a lot out of the BC Turf Management Summer Field Day. First, it’s an opportunity for a change of scenery and expanded horizons. You’ll see people you know, people you don’t know and at the very least, get a behind the scenes look at a great venue in Norbrock Stadium and the entire McArthur Island facility.
Second, there’s education and one CEC point available (application in progress). You could bail after the talk but why not stay for the whole day? Third, peruse the outdoor trade show and catch up with vendors, take in the demonstration stations, jump on a piece of equipment plus who doesn’t love lunch from a food truck??? Finally, there are even a few tee times still available at the Kamloops Golf Club on July 26th.
So come on out and join fellow golf and sportsfield managers for our first summer field day since 2019, taking place July 27th, 2022 at McArthur Island Park in the City of Kamloops but remember, July 13th is the registration deadline and it’s coming up fast!
