September 1, 2024
By WCTA staff

The ‘‘Canadian Rental Mart’ show, taking place at the BMO Centre on the Calgary Stampede Grounds, September 11-12, 2024, is coming up fast!

This biennial expo, primarily targeting the equipment rental market as the name suggests, has called Toronto home for nearly thirty years but by the time you read this, it will be will be less than a week away from its inaugural appearance in western Canada.  So what’s the connection between this event and golf/sportfields?

Annex Business Media, owner of Turf & Rec, also publishes Canadian Rental Services Magazine, the show’s producer.  It’s expected this event will serve as an excellent venue for building connections, introducing new products to a specialized audience including the professional turf management industry, while playing a pivotal role in the evolution of the equipment sector.

With that, the WCTA and Alberta Turgrass Research Foundation are involved and have jointly organized an Alberta CEU approved educational opportunity, put on by the ATRF’s head honcho extraordinaire himself, Jason Pick (see details below).

Both event registration and CEU session attendance is free.  Here’s the landing page link to register. See you in a few days!
