Oooooh it’s Good to be Back!
We’re back and on track with the 59th Annual WCTA Conference and Trade, coming to the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, BC, February 15-17, 2023!
After necessarily scrubbing our last two shows, the Western Canada Turfgrass Association Board of Directors is elated that we will be back live and in-person this coming February at a familiar and popular venue.
We’ll bring together 500+ of our closest professional golf and sports field manager friends and colleagues, nearly two dozen world class turf management educators delivering 40 hours of sessions with plenty of CEC/CEU opportunities, 8000 square feet of turf management supplier and service provider trade show second to none, all along with some fun social networking events, to the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, BC, February 15-17, 2023.
“Event production is well underway, the program has been released and we are receiving lots of questions about all aspects of the show,” said WCTA Executive Director, Jerry Rousseau, adding “The excitement is brewing and everyone is looking forward to getting together for the first time in a long time!”
“We’ve had three amazing shows at the River Rock and WCTA members expect as much,” noted WCTA Director Jed McGeachie, Overton Environmental. “We’ll do what we do best to put on another great education program for turf managers and I know suppliers are 100% behind our trade show.”
The extensive show program, including four pre-conference seminar options, four educational tracks spanning two days, busting at the seams golf & sports field management industry trade show and social functions was released, along with the official opening of delegate registration, on October 20th.
WCTA President Gary Bartley of UBC Athletics noted, “Registration is out early this year because we need to provide venue numbers much further in advance than ever before and we’ll need full support of WCTA members to help make our conference a huge comeback success. I look forward to seeing a packed house in Richmond this February!”
