Notice to WCTA Members - PayPal to be Discontinued

As of mid-August, the WCTA's PayPal account will be discontinued.  

For a number of years, PayPal was a useful payment platform however our new accounting software implemented summer of 2025, includes a secure online payment portal that accepts credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover), debit, Apple Pay and EFT.  

"Of the nearly 1000 revenue transactions processed this fiscal year, 27 payments were made using PayPal," stated WCTA Executive Director, Jerry Rousseau.  "With such low use, it was a fairly easy decision [to discontinue Paypal] as it requires all the same monthly administration and reconciliation as other banking." 

Other payment methods include e-transfer and cheque - refer to your emailed invoice for complete details (check your junk folder if you can't find it)

<<NEW>>  For members who prefer to call-in their credit card number, as of August 12, 2026, this service is once again available moving forward.   Your credit card number will not be stored and will only be used for a one-time payment of the invoice you specify.
