62nd Annual WCTA Conference – Keynote Presenter Announced

The WCTA 2026 Organizing Committee is very pleased to announce our impressive keynote speaker line-up and nearly finalized education program for the 62nd Annual WCTA Conference and Trade Show taking place February 10-12, 2026 at the River Rock Casino Resort.

SHOW PROGRAM (at Nov 26)

Headlining this year’s conference is Dr. John N. Rogers, III (Trey) of Michigan State University, a legendary figure in the field of turfgrass management with globally recognized expertise and research to his credit, including technical oversight and development of the various FIFA 2026 World Cup pitches.

“Participating in the last two WCTA conferences, it was an easy decision to invite Trey to appear once more, this time as our leading keynote presenter,” stated WCTA Executive Director, Jerry Rousseau, adding, “He is simply one of the best speakers in the turf management industry and on the eve of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we know there won’t be another opportunity like this in our lifetimes!”

In total, nearly 20 speakers will deliver about 25 hours of programming including five plenary presenters - three back-to-back-to-back the morning of Wednesday, February 10 and two more the afternoon of Thursday, February 11 (not including the closing act).

The main floor of the trade show is sold-out and additional space is being added. Meanwhile, Delegate Registration is underway, and as always, everyone from the golf, sportsfield and all turf management disciplines are welcome to attend, from supers, assistants, turf specialists, spray, irrigation and equipment techs and crew leaders to those looking for *CEC/CEU points and everyone in between.
