KayLee Hansen Added to 2026 Education Program

KayLee Hansen, our management workshop ace, has delivered presentations and workshops for us in the past, returning this year to present a short but insightful talk called ‘Pressure Changes Everything: What Shows Up When Expectations Are High'.

In high-pressure, results-driven environments, leadership doesn’t usually fail because people lack skill or commitment it fails under pressure. Tight timelines, seasonal demands, weather variability, and constant expectations fundamentally change how people communicate, make decisions, and show up for one another at work. Over time, even highly capable leaders and teams begin to overextend their natural strengths, often without realizing it. What looks like dedication or grit on the surface can quietly turn into strain, reactivity, misalignment, and burnout, impacting both performance and culture.

In this session, KayLee Hansen will explore what actually happens to leaders and teams when pressure is high and resources feel tight. Drawing on real-world experience working with organizations operating under sustained operational stress, she will unpack common patterns of overextension, how they show up on the job, and the unintended consequences they create. Participants will leave with practical insight into recognizing early warning signs, understanding their own stress responses, and applying simple, actionable strategies to lead more effectively especially when conditions are less than ideal.
