Too Soon for First 2027 Conference Promo?

While summer has just arrived and there’s a lot going on, FIFA 2026 World Cup for example, we’re already being asked about our 63rd Annual WCTA Conference and Trade Show, returning to the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, BC, February 9-11, 2027. 

Yes, it will be our lucky 7th time that the WCTA’s largest annual undertaking will be held at the River Rock - previous visits included 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023, 2025 and 2026.

“A unique and popular venue, the River Rock never disappoints,” said WCTA Executive Director, Jerry Rousseau, adding, “The conference is a big production and the idea has been to keep it (mostly) in one location. Meanwhile, our fall field day, which is a far nimbler event, will continue moving to different venues in a variety of locations.”

The City of Richmond has once again come to the table with significant funding to assist with production costs helping keep registration fees low while providing a world-class education program and turf management industry trade show.

2027 conference production is well underway and a draft education program is in the works – if you have speaker suggestions, please get in touch. Trade show registration is expected by mid-August with delegate registration and hotel booking in September.
