UFV Pesticide Course – No Fee with Gov’t Grant

The University of the Fraser Valley is offering the BC ‘Landscape General’ pesticide applicator certificate (PAC) course at the Chilliwack campus November 18-23, 2025 - Monday to Wednesday 5-9pm and Saturday 9am -3pm. Here’s the details:
Learn the laws and bylaws that regulate the use of pesticides and prepare to write the Provincial Pesticide Applicator's Certification exam for landscape general. The exam is written on the last day of classes.

Canadian Pesticide Education Program Applicator Core manual, British Columbia - 2011 Edition
Landscape Applicator Certification manual - 2017 Edition

For those looking to get their PAC, the test can be challenged but taking the four day preparatory course is typically the way to go. Unfortunately, the cost can be a barrier but good news, the StrongerBC future skills grant funding can help!

For WCTA members, once you have your 5-year certificate, send us a copy of your certificate and we will start tracking your continuing education credits (CEC’s) at no charge so that you can renew without needing to rewrite the test – all you pay is the $50 renewal fee.
