Patrick Dooley Memorial Golf Tournament
Patrick Dooley was a successful student athlete whose passion was golf. He had hoped to pursue a career in the golf industry, and was already a member at Mayfair Lakes Golf Course, but unfortunately passed away at the age of 16 after a short illness.
The Patrick Dooley Memorial Endowment fund has been set up to provide funds for a deserving student to study a golf-related discipline in his memory.
The Kwantlen Turf Club will be holding the “Patrick Dooley” fundraising Golf Tournament on April 8th at Patrick’s home course, Mayfair Lakes Golf Course (5460 No. 7 Rd, Richmond), and would like to invite you, your friends and family to join us!
The tournament will be an 18 hole Texas Scramble with a “shotgun start” at 12:30 pm, with games and prizes. Afterwards, join everyone at the tournament’s roast and chicken dinner buffet and prize presentation. Included with each entry is a bonus gift of a “Ticket to Golf” coupon book (value $89.95) for every registered player. Entry is $99 per person, and the deadline to enter is March 29th. Registration contact information is listed below.
The Kwantlen Turf Club is also accepting donations ($500 per donor) and tee sponsorships ($200 per tee) to help raise money for The Patrick Dooley Memorial Endowment fund. Either donation will provide your company with tournament advertising, recognition at the buffet dinner, and exposure in tournament follow-up news.
Please contact myself, Carolyn Reitzel, at carer@shaw.ca or Brett Opikokew at brettopikokew@hotmail.com to register, donate, or sponsor a tee.
We look forward to seeing you at Kwantlen Turf Club’s Patrick Dooley Golf Tournament on April 8!
Sincere Regards,
Carolyn Reitzel
