KPU Turf Campus News

This September, five KPU Turf students joined their Instructor for an exciting week grooming for the Senior Tour's "Pacific Links Championship".  Josh Carlsen, Randall Narcisse, Matt Mihal, Brennan Lessick and Jason Morgan worked alongside Bear Mountain crew and 5 KPU Alumni to create a fabulous golf experience for golf's legends.

October saw turf students begin a lawn care relationship with the Consulate General of the Solomon Islands new property in Langley. They spread and leveled a lawn rootzone for the property, then sodded it. Turf students will perform ongoing maintenance, while periodic treatments will be done by future turf classes.

Turf Club held their annual fall  fundraiser golf tournament at Redwoods again, lucky to catch perhaps the only nice day in October!  Sincere thanks to all who attended and especially our generous Tee Sponsors:
