KPU Campus News - Another Busy Term!
It’s been another busy term at school, with most students juggling classes and part-time or full-time work.
KPU Turf Club hosted another successful Fall Golf Tourney at Redwoods GC Sunday, October 14.
Hosts Peter Szarka and Cam Watt provided sunny, warm skies and fabulous playing conditions for 60 golfers. Proceeds go towards funding student association dues and conference attendance. Special thanks to our Tee Sponsors for this event: WCTA, BCGSA, NGCOA, Terralink, Turf Specialty Products, Westerra/Vermeer BC, Terra Equipment, RF Binnie, Carlsen Studios, Golf BC, Evergro, Shaughnessy GC and Corix.

KPU Turf Club will once again be raising money for Turfgrass Research by selling tickets for our annual “Golf Pass Contest”. This year, 14 prize packages are up for grabs, each one a foursome of 2019 golf at 2 courses. Tickets are $10 each, with max of 500 being printed, so great odds. It’s the perfect Christmas, Valentines or Birthday gift for the golfers and customers in your life! Final draw is February 22.
