Turf and Rec Announces Top 10 Under 40

For the third year running, Turf and Recreation Magazine, “honours the industry’s top young guns” with their Top 10 Under 40 feature, released in the latest digital issue, June/July.

“The class of 2020 of Canada’s Top 10 Under 40 has been helping to shape the future of the Canadian turf and grounds maintenance industry since entering the profession, and these young individuals are poised to ensure that the qualities of leadership, innovation and teamwork are in strong supply for years to come,” states the article’s intro.

Congratulations to all 2020 recipients, especially WCTA Director Jesse Cowan, Superintendent at Gallagher’s Canyon Golf Course and WCTA members Chad de Groot, Vernon Golf Club and Brendan Rutley, Oakcreek Golf & Turf, who were among the top 10, plus Dan Allen from the Township of Langley, who received an honourable mention in this year’s selections.

The future of turf management is in good hands!
