LPGA Tour’s best ready to compete at 2012 CN Canadian Women’s Open

Coquitlam, B.C. (Golf Canada) – A world-class 156 player field, including 15 Canadians, as well as 48 of the top-50 players on the LPGA’s Official Money List are set to challenge The Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam, B.C. August 23-26  for the $2 million (US) 2012 CN Canadian Women’s Open.

Canada’s National Women’s Open Championship officially kicks off Thursday with Round 1 teeing off at 7:00 a.m. PDT off the 1st and 10th tees at The Vancouver Golf Club, WCTA member Dave Kennedy, Superintendent. The entire week of the tournament is full with events including the Wednesday Pro-Am where kids selected from Canada’s Junior Golf Program, CN Future Links, had the opportunity to caddy for LPGA Tour professionals on the 3rd hole.
