Linda Latin Memorial Golf Day
The 1st Annual Linda Latin Memorial Golf Day will be held on June 17, 2023 at the Mount Paul Golf Course in Kamloops, BC.
Linda Latin, who owned Mount Paul Golf Course with her husband Danny, was killed in a motorcycle accident on June 25, 2022. She worked side by side with Danny, sharing in the rigours of running their business, contributing hard work, bookkeeping acumen, landscaping vision, people skills and her warm personality. They were partners in life.
Linda was proud of her Métis heritage and served as treasurer to the Two-Rivers Métis Society. Upon her passing, her family established a Legacy Fund to benefit local Metis children and youth. All donations and 100% of fundraising efforts will be directed to benefit local Metis children and youth through the Kamloops Lii Michif Otipemisiwak Family and Community Services.
First Tee Time is 11 a.m. To register for golf please call Mount Paul Pro Shop 250-374-4653 (Call soon to confirm your spot as there are only 100 available). Your $60 registration fee goes directly to Linda's Legacy Fund and Mount Paul Golf is providing 9 holes of golf, a meal ticket for burger and fries, an opportunity to buy 50/50 tickets and more. There are no skill prizes for this golf day but lots of door prizes, prizes for closest to the pin, longest putt, hole in one, longest drive and other random shots.
About Our Auction
All items being auctioned are donated in Linda's memory. 100% of all proceeds will benefit the Lii Michif Otipemisiwak Family and Community Services for the Legacy Fund established in Linda's memory to benefit local Metis Children and Youth. First bids will be accepted June 1st at 9 a.m. and final bids accepted at 10 p.m. June 17th. Successful bidders will receive confirmation by Sunday June 18th.
