Dave Lister Passed Away

Via Mountain Meadows Golf Club Facebook page

With heavy hearts, Mountain Meadows Golf Club announces the passing of our dear friend Dave Lister.  He came to us in 2015 with extensive experience in golf course management and we certainly benefitted from his experience these past 7 years.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Michelle and his children.  We will miss seeing your smiley face out on the greens.

Rest in peace Dave Lister

Excerpts from a 2013 WCTA article on Dave:

Dave Lister started his career in Turner Valley, Alberta working for his brother Bob, and moved to the province of B.C. to help in the construction of the Springs golf course in Radium Hot Springs.

Mr. Lister obtained his diploma in Turf Grass Management Technology from Fairview College (88-90) and has worked as construction superintendent on four different projects throughout British Columbia.

Dave sat on the board of the BCGSA as the president of the Northern Chapter before moving to Invermere B.C. and starting the Copper Point project in 2002.

“Working in the turf grass industry is one of the most rewarding careers available to people who enjoy working with nature and care about our environment.”

WCTA ED: Mountain Meadows made this brief post yesterday (Sep 7, 2022).  We’ll add more information as soon as it becomes available.
