Golf Industry Pitches In

Mabel Lake Golf Course Superintendent and WCTA Member Peter Bysouth is concerned about the Alberta flood victims and much like the waters of the Bow, Elbow, Highwood, Kananaskis, Red Deer, Cougar and South Saskatchewan Rivers, is rising to the occasion.

In a June 28 press release from the Mabel Lake Golf Course, located near Enderby, BC, Peter along with Dave Holoiday, will undertake a 24 hour golf marathon on July 10th starting at 5am in aid of the Calgary Flood Relief Fund.   According to the release, sponsorship money will go directly to help the victims of the recent flooding disaster in Calgary.
