Metro-Vancouver Changes to the Diesel Engine Bylaw
Thank you to everyone who attended the online meeting on October 24, 2018 to learn more about the changes to the MVRD Non-Road Diesel Engine Emission Regulation Bylaw No. 1161, including requirements for registration of low-use engines.
You can listen to the recording of the online meeting here and view the presentation slides here.
In March 2018, the Metro Vancouver Board approved changes to Bylaw 1161, including changes to low-use engine registration requirements. Owners of low-use engines must install a non-resettable hour meter by January 1, 2019 and report engine hour readings quarterly. For more information about the new requirements for low-use engine registration and other changes to the bylaw, visit the Metro Vancouver website.
