2022 Allied Turfgrass Research Funding Call for Proposals
via Canadian Turf Research Foundation
August 26, 2021
Dear Turf Researchers,
This year’s allied turfgrass research funding application process, formerly known as ‘CATR’ or Canadian Allied Turf Research, is once again being administered by the Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation. You are invited to apply for 2022 research project funding consideration to the following turfgrass research funding organizations with a single submission:
Alberta Turfgrass Research Foundation
Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation
Manitoba Golf Superintendents Association
Northwest Turfgrass Association
Quebec Turfgrass Research Foundation
Saskatchewan Turfgrass Association
Western Canada Turfgrass Association
To be considered for funding, please complete the 2022 Research Grant ‘ONECALL’ application form and return to CTRF Executive Secretary by Friday, November 5th, 2021, 5:00pm Pacific time. Please get in touch if we have not acknowledged receipt of your application within 4 weeks of submission.

Your project funding application and any supporting documents will be circulated to the above mentioned groups. Individual organizations will make funding decisions based on their own parameters, for example:
• research priorities
• available budget
• previous commitments
• preferred funding term
The true benefit to this process, besides saving valuable research time, is that CTRF member organizations are able to explore potential partnerships and as a result, funding could be provided by one or more organization or the CTRF as a whole.
All the best throughout the remainder of 2021! If you have questions, please contact me at CTRF Executive Secretary.
Jerry Rousseau
