Guelph Turfgrass Institute Grand Opening Field Day

You’re invited to the opening of the new Guelph Turfgrass Institute (GTI) on Friday, September 16th! Join us to tour the new state-of-the-art facilities and research plots, and chat with turfgrass researchers on-site. 

The new facility grounds are approximately 17 acres with 14 research plots focused on turfgrass cultivars, mowing heights, product testing and soil types. The new research plots feature a variety of turfgrass species and several rootzone specifications so that researchers can conduct studies which benefit golf course superintendents, sod farmers, sport field managers, and lawncare providers. Guided tours will start at 1:30 p.m. and run every hour.
