2024 Annual Research Funding Call for Proposals

Dear Turf Researchers,

This year’s research funding application process is once again being administered by the Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation (CTRF).  You are invited to apply for 2024 research project funding with a single submission to the CTRF in conjunction with the below listed regional organizations:

Alberta Turfgrass Research Foundation
Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation
Northwest Turfgrass Association
Quebec Turfgrass Research Foundation 
Saskatchewan Turfgrass Association 
Western Canada Turfgrass Association

To be considered for funding, please complete the 2024 Research Grant ‘ONECALL’ application form below and return to executive.secretary@turfresearchcanada.ca by Friday, November 17th, 2023, 5:00pm Pacific time.

Your project funding application and any supporting documents will be circulated to the above mentioned organizations.  Individual organizations may make funding decisions based on their own parameters, which might include:

• research priorities
• available budget
• previous commitments
• preferred funding term

The true benefit to this process, besides saving valuable research time, is that CTRF member organizations are able to explore potential partnerships and as a result, funding could be provided by one or more organization or the CTRF as a whole.

If you have questions or have not received acknowledgement of your application within 4 weeks of submission please contact me at executive.secretary@turfresearchcanada.ca.
