Industry advocacy has been a prominent topic of conversation amongst most golf industry associations for some time with efforts escalating over the past 6-8 weeks or so since the Suzuki program ‘Dad and the Dandelions’ was aired by CBC.
Conference time is much more than a gathering of turf management professionals seeking education, networking and a trade show, it’s a time of philanthropy, a chance to give back in a variety of ways. We’re humbled by the tremendous efforts on this front and are pleased to make the following post-conference fundraising announcements.
Two individuals were recognized for their outstanding achievements at the recent WCTA Conference and Trade Show, held in Penticton, BC, February 15-17, 2017. Presented with WCTA Life Member Awards were Rod MacDonnell, Hope Golf Club and Dan Cooper, Oakcreek Golf & Turf. Congratulations to you both!
