TLN Interview With Keith Lyall, 2013 WCTA President

Keith Lyall:  I’m 40 years old, I have been in the golf industry since 1995, but have been in landscape and residential construction since I was 13. Currently employed at Sun Peaks Golf Course where I have been the superintendent since 2005. My Wife, Bobbe and one year-old son, McLean and I live in Sun Peaks, we are both originally from Kamloops. I also have a ten year-old daughter, Ailisa who lives in Calgary.

Township Of Langley To Host 2013 WCTA/STA West Coast Sportsfield Training Day

13.05.29-training.day1The Sports Turf Association (STA), Canada’s national sports turf manager’s group, in partnership with the Western Canada Turfgrass Association (WCTA), is sanctioning the first ever Sports Turf Field Day held west of Ontario.

The STA has hosted an annual day-long educational and tradeshow event for the past 25 years, all of which have been held in various Ontario locations.  The exception was 2011, where an effort to support Atlantic sports turf managers saw the STA deliver an additional field day in Moncton, New Brunswick.
