On behalf of the WCTA Board and staff, we appreciate your continued involvement and confidence in our efforts to support turf management professionals in western Canada. This summary report reflects association accomplishments and industry activities over the course of the past 12 months or so, and the impact of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic on our membership and the association itself.
Patrick Dooley was a promising young golfer almost graduating from high school. Patrick was excited about a career in the golf industry and planned to enroll in KPU Turf Management diploma Fall 2008 when he died of a sudden illness.

2022 membership dues invoicing will commence over the next few weeks. All invoices will be emailed to individual members or the main contact we have on file if there are multiple members at your facility.
NOTICE TO WCTA MEMBERS
There is a venue change for the 59th Annual Western Canada Turfgrass Association Conference and Trade Show and therefore, a change in location for our Annual General Meeting. There is no change to timing, however, we will now be at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, British Columbia.

Over the past couple months, days have been flying by as we deep dive into all sorts of planning and production work for upcoming events like our WOW webinars, Dooley Memorial Golf Tournament on October 8th and of course, the 59th Annual WCTA Conference and Trade Show taking place live and in person, Feb 16-18 at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. Dare I say it’s almost starting to feel normal again?
