With over $10,000 worth of contributions from turf management industry suppliers and service providers, our 23rd Annual Silent Auction held during the 60th Anniversary WCTA Conference and Trade Show at the Victoria Conference Centre February 14-16, 2024, raised $4,560 for turf research projects!

At the first meeting of the new 2024/2025 WCTA Board and while reviewing the Research Committee’s recommendations for 2024 project funding, a motion was made and carried to support the Alberta Turfgrass Research Foundation through a $5000 association membership.
Winter is QUICKLY on its way and the researchers at the University of Minnesota Turfgrass Science department are starting the #WinterTurf data collection for 2023-2024. They are looking for more Superintendents willing to participate in the study from across Canada.
