In late June, the Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation (CTRF) announced its website, www.turfresearchcanada.ca, underwent major content updates with over 20 research reports added. Although previously reported, we thought it fitting to include this piece in our annual 'Turf Research' edition of the Turf Line News.
The Northwest Turfgrass Association will be donating $46,160 to worthy turfgrass research and education programs in 2018 as it continues to be a leading benefactor for the golf industry in the Pacific Northwest. Over the past four years, the NTA has donated almost $200,000 to various programs.

The turgrass research funding year begins with our annual conference and trade show. At that time, about a third of our annual average is raised through the Silent Auction, 50/50 draw and by the efforts of the Kwantlen Turf Club. Also, any contributions from allied organizations are typically presented at the show.
