The Annual General Meeting of the Western Canada Turfgrass Association (WCTA) will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:30am in the Crystal Ballroom of the Fairmont Empress Hotel. The Honrouable Mary Polak, British Columbia's Environment Minister, will address the 2015 WCTA Conference and Trade Show delegation.
"We're immensely pleased to have confirmed Minister Polak's participation in our event," stated WCTA President, Trevor Smith. "The fact that she has committed her time shows our advocacy efforts are working," adding, "two years ago this would not have happened."
WCTA office staff are happy to announce members can now use PayPal to remit payments for member dues, pesticide certificate renewals and any other items you have received an invoice for. A PayPal account is not required.

The Western Canada Turfgrass Association (WCTA) has been granted authority by the British Columbia Ministry of Environment (MOE) to begin tracking continuing education credits (CEC’s) for the commercial and domestic pesticide dispenser certificate category.
In the fall of 2013, the newly formed WCTA governance committee started working toward Constitution updates. Efforts continued this past summer with proposed changes brought forward to the Board of Directors in September.
