Great Timing For Environmental Benefits of Turf Poster

The Canadian Turf Research Foundation (CTRF), posted a helpful resource on its website today, August 20, 2015, called the 'Environmental Benefits of Turfgrass Poster'.  For those turf managers in western Canada currently affected by unusally hot and dry conditions and facing scrutiny over the use of water, the poster will assist both individual facilities and industry organizations with their public and media advocacy efforts.

Final Report: Fungicide Alternative Management Practices for Microdochium Patch

Microdochium patch can be observed year-around in some cool, humid regions, and damages nearly all grass species in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.  Historically, more money has been spent on fungicides to combat this disease in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest than any other turfgrass disease.

NTA Donates $61,000 to Research

12.04.20-NTA-LogoThe Board of Directors of the Northwest Turfgrass Association has voted to donated $61,000 to various turfgrass research and education projects in the Northwest, more than double what was awarded in 2014.

The NTA grants will be spread out over five different research and education programs in the Northwest.
