The Rainfastness of Pesticides

I just finished spraying and the rain started.  Darn.  Do I have to spray again?

Here is a slightly different story.  I started early this morning so I could spray while nobody was around.  We forgot to tell the irrigation crew.  Now the water is running where I sprayed.  Will it wash away the spray residue?

What We’ve Learned From a Decade of Reducing Pesticide Use

The golf course industry has been under scrutiny for pesticide use in NY for more than 25 years. The publication of “Toxic Fairways; Risking groundwater contamination from pesticides on Long Island golf courses” in 1991 inflamed the debate that would culminate a decade later in landmark legislation proposed to ban pesticide use on municipal golf courses in Suffolk County.
